Sherrell Swain Hardee

Sherrell Swain Hardee passed away June 19, 2014. Born August 21, 1922 in Johnston County NC to J Herbert and Ione Gower Hardee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Sammie, Grandson Chris Hardee, Brother Leon. During WWII, he worked in the shipyard on Liberty Boats. In the 1950's, He began a life long career in the Commercial Refrigeration Industry as the Owner and Operator of Hardee Refrigeration Service.

He is survived by two sons, Sherrell (Judy) of Lake Harding, Al. and Jerry of Wilmington. Grand Children, Becky Hardee (Tim) Clark, Soddy Daisy, Tn., Joey (Wendy) Hardee, Opelika, Al., Patty Hardee (Glenn) Turner, Hogansville, Ga., Warren (Amanda) Hardee, Leland, Great Grand Children: Kaitlyn, Kevin, Kaleb Hardee - Amber Gooden, Audrey Weldon, Heather Rogers, Brittany Clark, Kayla and Tyler Turner. Five Great Great Grand Children.

The Family would like to express it's sincere appreciation to Warren and Amanda for their Loving care shown to our Father for the past ten years of his declining health. You have sacrificed much to help Dad live a long full life.
