CHALMERS, Sharon Maryanne (nee Gregory) Peacefully at home on October 17, 2019, at the age of 73 years. Cherished wife of Larry, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage earlier this year. Loving mother to Paul (Jennifer) and Mark (Karen). Special grandmother to Jessica, Joshua, Logan, Tyler, and Storie. Survived by brother Ben (Jeannette) Tinsley, sister Janice Gregory, and many nieces and nephews. Sharon was born on January 4, 1946 in Gravenhurst, Ontario, and grew up in Kingsville. She was an active member of Cottam United Church, serving in the choir, Sunday School, and anywhere help was needed. She enjoyed music and could often be found harmonizing to a wide variety. She loved her family, and especially enjoyed attending the many activities of her grandchildren. Celebration Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cottam United Church would be appreciated. Dear Larry, Paul, Mark and families

Our very deepest condolences to you all at the loss of your dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We haven't seen Sharon for quite a long time but well remember her warm smile and thoughtful ways.

May there be comfort in knowing that with a quick thought, closing of your eyes, the wiping away of a tear, the beating of your heart, memories of her will be there for you always.

Rest in paradise Sharon you will be missed and definitely never forgotten. You are at peace and that gives us comfort... Until we meet again.

Hi Larry sorry for your loss. I will always remember the many banquets that Sharon and you help create for the Craftsmen Club
we had a lot of fun. Seems like a long time ago now. Again so sorry for your loss.

Such a wonderful woman. My son hasn't been in her care for years and he still talks about her with love.

Sharon was one of the most wonderful and faith-filled people I ever had the privilege to know. All of my best memories from Sunday School include her at the front of the room, trying (and generally succeeding) to get us to sing songs like The B I B L E and many others to get us ready for class. When I was 9, she led the class through The Believer's Prayer, the first time I prayed it. I'm not sure I believed it then, but when I prayed it more sincerely years later, it was because of her that I remembered it. She was a good friend, and a blessing to all who knew her. If it is possible to judge it on earth, few better deserve the phrase, "Well done, good and faithful servant..."
