Albert Belhumeur

Peacefully on July 5 with his family by his side, Albert passed away.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Denise (Brad), grandchildren Nikolas (Bailey) and Rachel (Mark) and by his great-grandchildren Luca and Pia. He also leaves many in-laws nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 2002.

Born on the family farm in St. Lazare, MB, he was the fifth of six children and the last survivor. Albert was a devoted employee of CN Rail where he made many lifelong friends. He loved watching hockey and participated in curling as long as he was able to. His greatest joy was his family. He was always our greatest cheerleader.

We would like to thank the doctors and nurses on the 3rd floor Grace Hospital and the staff at Tuxedo Villa. A special thank you to Liza Monton and her staff of caregivers. Their care was outstanding.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, MB.
