Always In Our Hearts

Quietly and peacefully, Michelle Marie Ann Neufeld (nee Penner) passed away Sunday January 5, 2020 at Riverview Health Centre. Her courage and beauty was noticed by all as she battled a year with cancer. Michelle’s faith was in the God who created her. God gave her the strength to do her journey with prayer and with the wisdom to take one day at a time. Her sweet life will forever stay with family and friends as conversations and memories will resurface time and time again. She will be missed more than the language of words can say.

Michelle was born April 8, 1975 and raised by her parents George and Mary Penner of Morden/Kane. She grew up alongside her brothers Kelvin and Corey. Michelle is survived by her husband Terry and 2 sons Caleb and Samuel. She is also survived by her parents George and Mary Penner and her brother Corey and his wife Kathryn and their daughter Jocelyn, her parents-in-law Gordon and Verna Neufeld, her brother-in-law Brad (Tracie), her sister-in-law Angie (Dwayne) and their children. Also left to cherish her memory are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michelle is predeceased by her brother Kelvin.

Michelle was passionate about her family. Together they experienced many special vacation times with Disney World being a highlight. She was actively involved and a cheerleader for her sons hockey practices and games. Her embracing heart created a special close bond to her family. Her friendly personality brought her many wonderful and close friendships. The neighbours around her were a supportive group that she often mentioned.

Our deepest sympathy to you Terry, Caleb, and Sam.
I feel proud and privileged to have spent time with Michelle.
I watched her selflessly lead and volunteer with the kids at school
and this truly touched my soul. I will remember her sweet youthful laugh and I am inclined to believe that she is a happy angel now
Love from Shelley, Gord, and Ian Meger.
