William "Mark" Hartness

William “Mark” Hartness, age 63, lost his battle with cancer on April 23, 2018 at the Liberty Lane Hospice House. He was born on July 17, 1954 in Winston Salem. Mark is preceded in death by his brother, Neal Hartness. He leaves behind his children, Alexandra Hartness, Taylor Hartness, Layla Larrimore, Mark Hartness, and Shal Hartness; parents, Betty and Johnnie Stewart; sisters, Johnsie Hege, Cynthia Stokes, and Sandra Stewart; and many other loved ones and friends. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 27th at 2pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family would especially like to thank the staff of the Liberty Lane Hospice House for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Liberty Lane Hospice House, ATTN: Hospice, 1601 Brenner Ave, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Mark was a very dear friend for over 40 years and will be so missed. Praying for his family and loved ones.
I Know that he is in Heaven with his Lord and Savior and is no longer in pain.
