Beth was the first friend I made at HF after moving into the area and Kathy was especially gracious and kind to me, always making snacks when we were hanging out, giggling about boys. I remember trying frozen French fries in the boxes that had individual fry dividers (so funny to me) - they have since been my favorite and so hard to find! I also fell in love with golden retrievers at the Mrozek household in Flossmoor - it was impossible not to. So many hugs to you Beth and family, I know the pain is hard. Xoxo

I have many fond memories of Kathy visiting in Gibson City. She and I would spend the night with Gram Woody and that always meant baking cookies and helping in the garden. I'm so sorry that she passed at such a young age. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sincere condolences to Bob, Beth and her siblings and extended family.
We got together as families and cousins when we were kids.
She is free of pain, but will be sorely missed.

I will always remember Kathy and I singing the "White Christmas" song "Sisters" around the office at Carsons. Kathy once brought a box of kittens to my house...and we couldn't choose just one! That's when Hootie and Cali became part of our family. My kids knew her as "the kitty's mommy"! We were truly work sisters, sharing recipes and life's struggles. Until we meet again, my friend..save me a seat in the lunchroom!

Kathy was always one way . . .calm.
Regardless if the frenzy that might surround her, she remained calm. Thus is something all of her coworkers felt and appreciated. I always appreciated her level headedness, her intelligence, and her ability to smile and share a laugh now and then....most of all her unending loyalty and support. You will be missed Kathy.

Lemon Pie!!! One of my best memories in the world. She also never seemed to care when I took seconds. Will never be forgotten!

I am attaching a picture of the bookshelf my wife Mary and I had at our wedding reception (9-24-11) for guests to write as they wanted. Kathy's note is always in the open to view. She new what the Skuza's cherished the most!
