Delores I. Buss, 93, of Orlando, FL, passed away on October 6, 2021 at Advent Health. Delores was born July 7, 1928, in Lost Creek, WV to the late Russell and Reba (Kniceley) Harrison. Delores was the oldest of seven children.
Delores and her husband, Wayne, were married for 45 years before his death in 2012.
She is survived by her brother Fielding (Sue) Harrison, Lake St. Louis, Mo. her sister Lyda (Paul) Lister, Nutter Fort, WV sisters-in-law Darlene Harrison, Conroy, TX , Virginia Harrison, Myrtle Beach, SC, Judy Buss, Smithville, OH, Shirley Buss, Sterling, OH and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, sister Jo Elizabeth, brothers James, Duane and Edward.
She was a member of College Park United Methodist Church where she was active in Sunday School, United Methodist Women, Child Development Centre Classroom Pal, and the Christian Service Center.
Delores enjoyed reading, cross stitching and many other crafts and visiting and talking with family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at College Park United Methodist Church on October 12, 2021 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at 2:30pm at Glen Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to College Park United Methodist Church, 644 W. Princeton St., Orlando, FL 32804.
