After graduating from High School, Felix was blessed with a daughter, named Maggie. Felix joined the Army during the Korean War. and while serving, he met and married Adella Scales. To this union five children were born: Felix Jr., Freddie, Van Keith, Mamie, and Justina.
Felix was involved in the community as a member of the Orange County Community Action Headstart, Inc.
Felix was proceeded in death by his parents, four brothers, four sisters, three sons, three daughters, several grand and great grandchildren.
Felix leaves behind to cherish his love and kindness: son, Felix Hayden, Jr. a host of Grand and Great Grand Children, a sister, Evangelist Charlie Mae Wilder, Loving Nieces, Luvenia May, Wanda Kilpatrick and Grand Nieces and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
A visitation for Felix will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Mt. Olive AME Church, 2525 W. Church Street, Orlando, Florida 32805. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2525 W. Church Street, Orlando, Florida 32805. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
