Gary Blalock, age 80, was born May 17, 1938 in Highland Park, Michigan and passed on to be with the Lord on August 3, 2018. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Donna Blalock, his children Linda Crump (Rick), Sherry Hidden (Frank), Colleen Preston (Bill), Heather Smith (Matthew), six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Bouback.
Gary served 30 years in the US Navy as a musician. He later became founder and director of the Maitland Stage Band and played with The Escorts Dance Band. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 7, 6-8 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod. Funeral service is 3:30 pm, Wednesday, August 8 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Oviedo. Burial following at St. Luke’s Cemetery.
