Lenn Dovell

February 17, 1949March 8, 2021

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lenn Dovell of Kenosee Lake, Saskatchewan.

Lenn was predeceased by his parents Tom & Jesse Dovell and his sister Joan Hofos. Lenn is survived by his loving wife Lynn, children Dirk (Ashley), Tami (Chris) and Kandi (Barrett). Grandchildren Maddex, Meryk, Jackson, Willow, Seth, Liberty and Kase. Several nieces and nephews and many many friends.

Lenn grew up in Windthorst where he met the love of his life in high school. Lenn and Lynn were married in 1970 and moved to Regina. Lenn worked at Ipsco while raising his family. They then moved to Lumsden where they lived for 20 years. While in Lumsden, Lenn worked for the rink for several years as well as his company Dovell Exteriors. The next chapter took them to Kenosee Lake where they lived, loved, worked and retired. Lenn and Lynn worked at Golf Kenosee for 14 years where they made an enormous impact on the community. Lenn’s love of sports kept him busy with baseball, hockey, curling, golf and fishing. During his retirement years you could always catch him on the golf course or on the lake fishing (summer and winter) with his children, grandchildren and friends.

Lenn was loved and respected by all that knew him. May all the Lennisms and wonderful memories stay with everyone as he rests in eternal peace.

The funeral service was held in the Windthorst Community Rec Centre, Windthorst on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas officiating. Interment of cremated remains followed in Windthorst Cemetery.
