Phyllis Pantel

March 22, 1947October 8, 2020

Phyllis Pantel, beloved wife of Leonard passed away at the Balcarres Integrated Care Center on Wednesday, October 8, 2020, at the age 73.

In heaven she joins her parents Harold and Adele MacPherson, her sisters Diana and Dorothea, and many other aunts, uncles and other relatives.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years Leonard Pantel, her children Pauline Gabriel and Leonard (Lenny) Pantel, her grand children Mackenzie, Victoria, Elizabeth and Richard Gabriel, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

After graduating from Bert Fox Composite High School, Phyllis married Leonard Pantel and moved to a small acreage just outside of Fort Qu’Appelle, where she decided to become a homemaker after the birth of Pauline. Phyllis worked at the CIBC for a couple of years before Lenny was born. After her children both graduated high school, Phyllis decided to help out at Camp Lutherland as a manager. There she happily touched the lives of many people as she did her job out there.

Phyllis enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed having coffee and being around others. She will be missed by all and never forgotten.

Ken and I send sincere condolences to all of Phyllis’s family.
When I think of her what I remember most is how kind and thoughtful she was to me as a younger neighbour, fellow school bus passenger and younger student. As adults , whenever we met on the street or at community gatherings she always expressed happiness and enjoyment at seeing others and I admired that in her.
