Age 82, of Woodbury, passed away at home on February 28, 2018. A graduate of the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing, Jane worked as a nurse at the VA, Swedish and Midway hospitals, and Allina clinics.
Jane had a green thumb and loved growing flowers. She was an accomplished seamstress, generous with her skills to family, friends, and her church. She won ribbons at the MN State Fair for her needlework. Jane loved travel and had a sense of adventure. She became a pilot at the age of 61, and was a member of the Minnesota Civil Air Patrol.
She was a devoted Presbyterian, born into Vanderberg Presbyterian Church in Mpls., a charter member at Church of Way in Shoreview, a deacon at Arlington Hills Presbyterian in East St. Paul, and a member of Trinity Presbyterian until her death.
Preceded in death by Brother, Richard Wendt. Jane is survived by her loving Husband of 59 years, John; Daughters, Leslie (Peter Foster) MacKenzie; Carol (Jayne Tyler) Dahlquist; Son, Bruce (MaryLynn) Dahlquist; Grandchildren, Doug, David, Rachel Maggi, Ali and Cali Dahlquist.
Funeral service Saturday March 3rd 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Trinity Presbyterian Church 2125 Tower Dr., Woodbury. Private interment at Union Cemetery.
