Benedetto Giummule, age 49, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. Benedetto was born on August 27, 1971 in Oceanside, New York to Phyllis St. John and the late Benedetto Giummule Sr.
Ben was a talented and accomplished chef in New York City where he lived for most of his life. He shared his love of cooking by making intricate and delicious meals for family and friends. Ben was passionate about music and was always singing along to his favorite albums. He cherished his extensive collection of CDs, music memorabilia, and concert tickets from the many live shows he had attended over the years. Ben was a lover of all animals and cared for several pet companions during his life.
Ben was preceded in death by his father, Benedetto Giummule Sr; cousin and surrogate Mother, Olga Aleshin; brother-in-law, Tom Ragland; furbabies, Brooke, Spartacus, Tito, and Panchita; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis St John; sister, Anastasia Ragland; surrogate brother, Shankar Iyer; godfather and uncle, Thomas Gluz; godmother and aunt, Margaret and Lee Rothrauff; aunt, Evalyn Sherwood; nephews, John, Alexander, Christian, and Ian Hudgens and Monica Lee; furbaby, Ottilie; and numerous beloved cousins.
