Carolee Berasi

Carolee Berasi, 63, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2021 after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born to Frank L. and Assunta (Sue) Pedatella Berasi on March 2, 1958, in Creighton Pennsylvania. She attended Glassmere Elementary School in Creighton and Deer Lakes High School, Class of 1976, where she was a Head Cheerleader.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in December, 1980. She subsequently received her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude in June of 1988.

Carolee practiced law primarily in both Pennsylvania and Georgia and was also licensed in several other states.

She most enjoyed spending time with her two dogs, Sophie and Ozzie and cat, Tiger. Carolee was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved the beach at Hilton Head Island, gambling, especially in Las Vegas, and Broadway musicals.

She is survived by her sister, Linda (Berasi) Karlo of Marietta and her long-time companion, Anthony Merriwether.
