Evie Nell Bolt

March 6, 1932September 22, 2020

Mrs. Evie Nell O'Kelley Bolt, born March 6th, 1932 in Griffin, GA to Evie Chloris (Mitchell) O'Kelley and Frank O'Kelley, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 22nd, 2020 in the city of Woodstock, GA.

Mrs. Bolt lived quite an adventurous life, with both ups and downs, but nothing could ever stop her. With her overwhelming faith in Christ and God, her determination, and a will unlike any other, she always prevailed from her challenges with a smile on her face and words of positivity for all others. Mrs. Bolt was the one person that anyone could approach and and be openly accepted, honest, and know that the deep empathetic nature of Nell could change their life. She traveled the world, worked many years for ALPA before retiring in 1994, wrote stories, cared for her ailing parents and family, and even attended a blind school after retirement; and through it all, she was always there for her family as a true matriarch.

Mrs. Bolt is pre-deceased by her husband, Bryan E. Bolt Sr., and her two (2) sons, Bryan Bolt Jr. and Barry Bolt. She is survived by her two stepdaughters, Kathy (Kraft) Anderson and Theresa Kraft; her seven grandchildren, Alex Bolt and Wife Jenny, Erin Watson and Husband Brian, Heather, Zach, and Craig Anderson; and four (4) great grandchildren: Jackson, Nathan, Lachlan, and Laken, and her beloved dog, Nelly.

Mrs. Bolt will be cremated and a memorial will be arranged with burial in Forest Park, GA next to her loved ones, as she has always wanted to be.

Please contact granddaughter Erin Watson at 678-656-7299 if desired for further arrangement plans.

Nell was my 1st Cousin, but was more like a sister to me. She was the daughter of my Dad's sister. We had many conversations and shared love of family together. I will miss her so very much.

I’m so sorry to hear of Nell’s passing. She was such a sweet friend with a soothing way about her. She helped me and prayed with me through some very tough times in my life. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with-
