Helen E Downs

Helen Elizabeth White (Downs), 77, of Yakima WA, went to be with our Lord Saturday, July 16 2022. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister and friend to many. Helen is survived by her Husband Art White, two sons Randy and wife Lavender, Doug and wife Tammy. She was preceded in death by her two sisters Gracy, Linda, and son Michael Thompson. Helen had a passion for music. She loved to sing, yodel and play guitar. She cut 2 albums with the Walt Rogers Four in Portland, OR. Performed on the Princess cruise line with the band Triple Catch. Lately, Helen and her best friend Lois Thompson shared their music with convalescent homes in Yakima. She enjoyed camping and fishing, and even took up scuba diving in her youth. She loved all her pets. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by all. Graveside services will be held Saturday August 6th at 10:00 am at Wenas Cemetery. 11440 N. Wenas Rd. Selah WA.
