Coleen Carfora

Coleen was born on October 10, 1960 in Bronx NY to Kathleen (Coyle) and Daniel Zinzi. Coleen worked for Bayer Corporation for over 30 years. Coleen was a widow of 32 years, she married Anthony Carfora on September 24, 1983 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Yonkers NY. Coleen enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She was an animal lover, who rescued her beloved cat Pip. Coleen was thought of as a free spirit. She was a kind, gentle & loving soul who had the heart of a gypsy. Coleen is survived by her mother Kathleen Zinzi; her siblings Daniel Zinzi & Kathleen Santariga; her niece Amanda Silano; nephews Nicholas Santariga & Daniel Zinzi. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Tess Zinzi, brother-in-law Al Santariga & nephew-in-law Joe Silano. She is also survived by her dear friend Dick. Coleen is preceded in death by her father Daniel Zinzi. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday from 3-7pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday February 1st at 11am. Final disposition will be private.
