She was born in Galancita, Durango, Mexico on September 30, 1942 to Lino and Eufrocina Rios. She was married to Robert Gene Adams for 56 years until he passed last year.
When she was 12 years old she moved to Los Algodones, B.C, Mexico where she later met her husband. After she married she lived in Lake Hughes, California. Then after about 15 years she returned to live in Los Algodones where she lived for over 30 years before moving to Yuma, Arizona.
Carolina was a very noble, caring and dedicated mother, wife and grandmother. She loved being a grandmother and loved spending time with her family and friends. She always had a cheerful personality even though she has had many trials in her life. Carolina was always smiling, laughing and was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. She loved people. She loved to serve, help, and share with others. She was always willing to give of her time, food, smiles and hugs. She gained the love of both children and adults and always respected everyone. Her biggest pride was her children and grandchildren. Carolina was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and married her husband in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. She will always be remembered as a great example of a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.

Carolina will be profoundly missed by her three children: Matt, Patty and Lola. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Matthew, Justin, Miranda, Annette, Madison and Joshua. She is survived by her sisters Rosa, Virginia and Susy and her brothers Manuel and Hector. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Trinidad, Bernardo, Flora, Miguel and Jose Luis.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4200 W. 18th Street, Yuma, Arizona, followed by interment at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 S. First Avenue, Yuma, Arizona

Carolina Rios Adams falleció serenamente el 14 de Febrero 2020 en su casa en Yuma, Arizona.
Ella nació en Galancita, Durango, México el 30 de Septiembre de 1942, hija de Lino y Eufrocina Rios. Estaba casada por 56 años con Robert Gene Adams hasta que el falleció el año pasado
Cuando tenia 12 años Carolina se mudó a Los Algodones,B.C. donde
despues conoció a su esposo. Despues residió en Lake Hughes, California por casi 15 años. Luego regreso a vivir en Los Algodones, B.C. donde residió por mas 30 años antes de mudarse a Yuma, Arizona.
Carolina era una madre y esposa cariñosa y dedicada. Ella amaba ser un abuela y le encantaba convivir con su familia y amigos. Era muy noble y tenia una personalidad muy alegre apesar de todas sus pruebas en la vida. Siempre estaba riendo y sonriente. Era amada y respetada por todos los que la conocian. Carolina queria a todos, le encantaba servir, ayudar y compartir con los demas. Estaba siempre dispuesta a dar de su tiempo, comida, sonrisas y abrazos. Ella supo ganar el carino desde los niños hasta los mayores de edad siempre respetando la forma de vivir de cada quien. Su orgullo mas grande eran sus hijos y sus nietos. Era un miembro fiel de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias. Siempre será recordada por haber sido una esposa, madre, abuela, tia, hermana y amiga ejemplar para todos.

Carolina sera profundamente extrañada por sus hijos, Matt, Patty y Lola. Ella deja atras tambien a 6 nietos: Matthew, Justin, Miranda, Annette, Madison y Joshua. Le sobreviven sus hermanos Rosa, Virginia, Manuel, Hector, Lupe y Susy. Es precedido en la muerte por sus padres y sus hermanos: Trinidad, Bernardo, Flora, Miguel y Jose Luis.
Amigos y familia estan invitados al servicio funerario el Viernes, 28 de Febrero 2020 a las 11 am en las Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias, 4200 W. 18th Street, Yuma, Arizona. El sepelio sera despues en el Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 S. First Avenue, Yuma, Arizona
