Lurley J. "Kay" La Fata, 92, of Yuma, died Nov. 23, 2013, at Yuma Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 2, 1921, in Hagerstown, Md., she was a secretary for Yuma Proving Ground and Marine Corps Air Station Yuma.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, 3261 S. Avenue 6E.
Kay is survived by her sons, Jan A. La Fata of Yuma, Arizona and Salvatore Joseph La Fata of Green Valley, Arizona.
Johnson Mortuary is handling arrangements, including cremation.
