Salvador Cruz Garcia, age 92, of Beaumont, California passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Salvador was born February 20, 1928 in El Paso, TX. He was a resident of Beaumont for 22 years and previously lived in San Bernardino for 24 years. Salvador was a carpenter at St. Bernardines for 55 years. He was in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 2nd Class and earned a Victory Medal WWII.
Salvador is survived by his wife, Estella Garcia; daughter Wilma Montes (Willie) of Beaumont, California; daughter Eileen Rodriguez (Joaquin) of Beaumont, California; son Salvador Garcia (Roberta) of Beaumont, California; son Ruben Fierro (Vicki) of Colton, California; son Henry Garcia of Las Vegas, Nevada; son Ricky Garcia of Yucaipa, California; and son Ernie Garcia. And Salvador had 103 grand and great-grandchildren!
Salvador was preceded in death by daughter Edna Garia Lopez.
A viewing for Salvador will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California 92223. A rosary will occur Monday, March 1, 2021 at 5:00 PM, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California 92223. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St Kateri Catholic Church, 1234 Palm Ave, Beaumont, California 92223. A graveside service and military honors will occur Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 1:15 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California 94102.
