Dear Jensen & Demory  Families;  we are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother and Grandmother.  Bette dearly loved her family and was always so kind and welcoming to us too as her extended family.  We loved her warmth, smile and laughter. We have such precious memories of Bette. She had such quick wit, a wonderful smile and always made you feel welcome. She was a gracious hostess and made us feel like family.  Our time at the beach on South Padre Island is one of our favorites as well as spending time at the holidays.  I know you’ll miss her so much; she was an incredible mom/grandmother. Know we are praying for you especially today and will have a Mass said for her on Easter Sunday. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18. Known to most as Bette, she was always my Aunt Elizabeth. I have so many memories of her over a lifetime. The younger sister of my mother, Mary Anne, the stories and laughter were shared and celebrated often. From the farm to the city, to the lake her life was full. Happy times when I was part of a shared history, a family, a time when the simple moments and the major milestones of her life, are carried tenderly in my heart. I hope the family and friends of Elizabeth (Bette) Lipert Jensen find happy memories filled with laughter and joy to cling to in these sad moments of early loss. I share in your sorrow and will keep her in my prayers.
