John G. Dussault, 68, of Washington, D.C. died of complications following stem cell transplant on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. His wife Susan, and sister, Mary, were with him when he died.
He was born in Little Falls, NY, the son of Tom and Louise Roberts Dussault. After graduating from Little Falls High School in 1970, he did his undergraduate studies at SUNY Geneseo, and earned an MBA at SUNY Albany.
John began his information technology career at NCR in Dayton, Ohio, and later worked as a systems analyst at Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Washington DC. He joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD in 1993 and retired from NIH as a Branch Chief in 2015. On October 30, 1993, John was married to Susan Sanders in Washington DC.
In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by his two sisters, Cathi Franchino (Harry) and Mary Dussault (Susan), nieces Jessica Elder, Sarah Palacio, Kyle Carinelli and nephew, Zachary Dussault. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Thomas A. Dussault.
