Robert E. Collins, Sr. – Loving husband of the late Betty Ann Collins, nee Gleason, for 57 years; Proud father of Patricia (Dwight) Morgan, Joseph (Laura) Collins, Maureen Collins, and the late Robert E. Collins, Jr.; Adored Papa of Jack, Danny and Joey Collins, and Robert and Millar Morgan; Dear brother of the late William (the late Alice) and the late Richard (Mary); Devoted son of the late William and Ethel Collins; Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; Long time Parishioner of and dear friend to many of the Most Holy Redeemer Church in Evergreen Park.

Bob was an avid golfer and tennis player who spent his professional life working as the Executive Vice President for The Checker Taxi Company for many years.

Visitation for Bob will be from 4-9 PM on Friday, March 26, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn. Funeral to begin at Blake-Lamb on Saturday, March 27, at 9:45 AM, proceeding to Most Holy Redeemer Church, 9525 Lawndale Ave, Evergreen Park, for a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial.

Please note, Mass is limited to 100 guests and you must sign up at the Funeral Home in person the night of the visitation, or over the phone. Interment private.

In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Blake-Lamb Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests on a rotating basis at services. Proper social distancing must be practiced no outside food or drinks allowed and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
