Versal “Stringbean” Ray Argabright, 82, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 in Virginia Beach. Ray was born in Copperhill, VA to the late Harvey and Mary Wilson Argabright. He worked as a General Longshoreman for the majority of his life. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved tinkering around on cars and overall was just a busybody, hard working person.
He is cherished in memory by his loving wife, Billie; sons, Michael, Jim, David and Shane, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
A visitation will be from 5-7pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 10am, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Bridge Church, 3168 Indian River Rd., VB, VA 23456.
