Deloris Hickson, 55 of Reading, passed away Monday March 22, 2021 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital. She was the loving wife of 30+ years to James H. Merritt. Deloris was born in Lake City, S.C., on September 22, 1965 a daughter of the late Willie James Brown and Kolee Hickson.
She enjoyed spending valuable time with her family and friends. She also leaves to cherish in her memory, 2 children; Kolee Merritt and Cameron Merritt, brother, Otis Hickson, and 4 grandchildren; Kaymoni Merritt, Cameron Merritt, Naleigha Merritt and Assyria Woods, also a dear friend and like a sister, Rose Battle and a host of relatives and close family friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday April 3, 2021 in Theo C Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. A viewing will be Saturday 10-11am in the funeral home. www.theocauman.com
