Dear Andrea

I am so sorry for your and Drew's loss.  I just heard about Jamie's passing today.  I am so saddened.  Jamie was such a good guy.  I enjoyed working with him at SHA.  I have many fond memories working with Jamie when I first came to Regional Planning, when we worked together as a 2-person team for a couple of years in the early 2000s.  We continued to work together on various projects now and then after he left up until the time I retired.  Ironically, I was just thinking of him this morning, before I heard this awful news; I was washing my hands after being out at the store - and with a smile, remembering how Jamie was always applying hand sanitizer way back when, long before we ever heard of COVID... and now of course I'm washing my hands all the time.   Beyond that little aside I remember fondly our many conversations about music, the Ravens and life in general (many 2-3 hour drives out to Western and Southern MD).  I remember too how smitten he was when you guys were dating; and how excited he was when Drew came along.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences, and please know my thoughts are with you and Drew at this time.

Jamie was always fun to be around.  I will always remember he and Andrea getting married and the joy they shared when Drew came along.  Jim and I send our deepest condolences and will keep Andrea, Drew, their family, and friends in our prayers.

Robin and I want to send our sincerest condolences to Andrea, Drew, and the extended family.  I knew Jamie for 16 years, and have many fond memories.  There were camping trips, concerts, tennis matches, football games, and a wedding that were all my pleasure to share with him.  I think my best memories of him though will always be the simple times when we were sitting on his deck listening to music, laughing, and just enjoying each other’s company.  He will be greatly missed, and fondly remembered.

Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. Every heart in your “girls’s night out” circle is breaking.  Jamie was comforted knowing that Andrea and Drew especially, were left in very good hands. 

We met Jamie when our sons started preschool  together. I always appreciated Jamie’s sense of humor and ability to play with the boys like a kid himself. Our son many great memories with Mr. Jamie at the beach, the pool, at Hershey Park, or just having Nerf battles at home. Our daughter always liked to make him laugh or to watch cartoons with him while Andrea and I baked Christmas cookies. Our deepest condolences to Andrea, Drew, Nancy and family. He will be so missed.

Jamie was a great man and I will remember my times with him and Andrea fondly. 

I remember spending time with Jamie and Andrea at their first apartment, playing Scrabble, and using the dictionary to check words. I remember loving on Fred who was the cutest pug ever.

I remember Jamie and Andrea throwing a Ravens-themed baby shower for me and Marie for our first child. 

I remember visiting whenever we came to town from Ohio. 

Jamie was a kind and funny man and he will be missed. I think fondly of my times with him.  Much love to Andrea and Drew in this difficult time.

Not gonna lie, I wish we had more memories but the ones I have are awesome. (Hello, ravens stadium wedding) So grateful we got to meet you and share in your kindness, humor and compassion. Thank you for always being a game partner to Andrea and letting us have our baby shower at your house. 108’s. Always. And we will be there for Andrea and Drew. Promise. Hugs and much love and light.
