Maria L Tovar, age 92, of Progreso, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Maria was born November 25, 1928 to Cayetana Mosquesda and Leocadio Flores.

Maria is survived by her children Manuela Rivera (Rambaldo Rivera); Francisco Tovar; Maria Ramos (Ventura Ramos); Guadalupe Tovar; Francisca Tovar (Martin Franco); Juan Tovar; Leticia Garcia (Alberto Garcia); Herlinda Gonzalez (Julio Gonzalez); Margarita Tovar (Alvaro Lara); Esmer Rangel (Benito Rangel); Angel Tovar; and Victor M Tovar.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Francisco Tovar, parents Leocadio Flores and Cayetana Mosquesda; and her brother Bernaldino Flores.

A visitation will occur Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Rosary to follow at 7:00PM. A Chapel Service will occur Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Burial at 3:00PM at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
