Obituary of James "Gavin" Skinner

James Gavin Skinner passed away suddenly on March 30, 2021. Gavin was born on Jan. 16, 2004 in Mobile, AL and was a sophomore at Saraland High School.

He is preceded in death by his father James (Jimmy) Nathaniel Skinner and his paternal grandfather James (Jim) Monroe Skinner, Jr.

He is survived by his loving mother Suzanne Skinner, sisters Anna Grace and Molly,

and grandparents Nancy Peoples and Charles and Sharon Erwin.

Gavin enjoyed playing soccer and spending time with his friends whether it was riding 4-wheelers or cruising the river.

Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 with graveside services immediately following at Mauvilla Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, his mother requests donations be made to the Food Bank Ministry of Bayou Sara (Bayou Sara Baptist Church) or Destination Church Youth Group in Gavin’s memory.
