Stephen Peyton Maynard-Koran, of Austin, TX passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 29, 2021 in Austin at the age of 46. Peyton was born in Tampa, FL, February 6, 1975 to William Stephen Koran and Joan Pearson Pendas. Peyton attended high school in College Station, TX, graduating from Consolidated High School in 1992 and from DeVry University in 2005. His greatest loves were his children: Erin, Aiden, and Brooklyn. The lake was his passion and he enjoyed it as much as possible – boating, sitting, fishing, or just sticking his feet in the water. He was an incredible wakeboarder, and he passed on this love of the water to his children. He was a tremendous father, compassionate colleague, and accomplished individual who achieved respect from his colleagues and love from his family and friends.
He was a loving father, son, brother, husband, and friend. He was blessed with a very loving family and an incredible group of life-long friends.
Survivors include his parents, Joan and Steve; sister, Virginia Lauren Hughes; step-sister, Kristen Johnson; his wife, Katie Maynard-Koran; Children: Erin Hailey Koran, Aiden Parker Maynard-Koran, Brooklyn Sloan Maynard-Koran.
