Forever in my heart for the trust she offered me.

It breaks my heart to know Mrs. Kemme passed away and I didn’t get the chance to see her one last time: I will carry her in a special place in my heart bc she left good lessons in my life also knowing how she wanted me to find a good guy in my life haha and how happy she was when I told her I had found someone sweet haha from all that to watching good tv shows and commenting on how crazy the actors were. It was such a pleasure working for such a giving person like mrs. Kemme

Beautiful lady beautiful life.  And, a wonderful neighbor. Always smiling, friendly and calm under pressure. Very kind to me and generous to my son Craig, taking him skiing and showing he and Tom a fun time. Craig was always keen to go!

When my daughter Hilary became Colorado teacher of the year last year, Aunt Mary Kemme sent my daughter $100.00 because she was so proud of her. My daughter now has a cute Yorkie named Darla all because of Aunt Mary and her donation. Life can take away many things but not your good memories. Thanks for all the good memories Aunt Mary and Uncle Dick. And "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot take away!"

I was so sad to hear of Mary's passing.  I have so many memories of her, dating back to my 1st grade in Mary Pat's class.  I remember ALL the ski trips - Winter Park and Aspen and even staying at their place in St. Mary's Glacier!  Mary was a true friend to my mother, Mary Shore.  They spent much time together - skiing, biking, golfing, traveling and just being friends.  I remember one time when my mom was recovering from surgery, Mary called her and invited her to do an exercise class together.  They did it, and it sparked a life-long interest in exercise and health for my mom.  Sometimes I credit Mary Kemme for saving my mom's life!  When my father passed away, Mary and Dick would call mom up and invite her to various concerts, dinners and events - just because they were kind and caring.  And when my mom was struggling at the end of her life, of course it was Mary who continually called, invited mom out to lunch, checked on her.  I'll never forget this - when we were trying to make the right decisions for our mom's last few years of her life - Mary was so encouraging and loving to us "Shore girls".  

Well, now the two Marys are together in heaven, probably having a ball.  

Love to all you Kemmes!  You were so blessed to have such a wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.  We'll be praying for comfort and peace for all of you.  Just allow the things Mary taught you, who she was to influence you for the rest of your lives.

It made me so sad to read that Mary has passed away. She was a ray of sunshine to me, such a loving person.

Our condolences to Mary’s friends and family. Growing up, I would often hear from my dad, aunts, and uncle how they loved visits with Uncle Dick and Aunt Mary. When Ben and I moved across the country, it was such a pleasure to meet and stay with them. We felt so welcomed! I have always been impressed that Mary sent us a Christmas card every year, and it seemed so personal, even as a distant relation. I’m sure her card list was quite long, but it shows how much love she had to share. May she Rest In Peace.

Mary and I had a routine. I would say "You’re my favorite sister. " 
She would say "You’re my nicest sister. " 
Me: "You’re my smartest sister." 
Her: "You’re my funniest sister," and on and on.

I only had one sister but if I had a thousand, she would still be the kindest, most gracious, generous of them all.

It breaks my heart to see yet another one of the Greeley Greats leave us!  What wonderful memories of the old days of skiing together I have. And photos of the Aspen trips you all had together at the Aspen Alps. 

May your hearts be filled with a lifetime of memories and know that the gang is gathering for more skiing!

My deepest sympathy to Dick and the Kemme family. Mary 's life long commitment to helping those most vulnerable changed many lives for the better. She was small in stature but never to be underestimated. Her intelligence, sharp wit and commitment to all she believed will be missed. Aunt Mary has inspired and guided my life in so many ways I cannot express. She was my second Mother. Phone calls and bringing my children and their children for visit were gifts for all of us. The many years heading to Greeley for the big holiday dinners were always something to look forward to when we were kids. Having her at our weddings and Birthday parties will be missed.  It will be hard here now without her, but her bright light is now shining bigger and brighter in a far better place. A place she has lived life waiting to get to. Our hearts are broken, but hers is now deep inside us so that we can carry on her life. My heartfelt sympathy and love goes out to my Uncle Dick and my cousins. May you find comfort and healing knowing she is home.

One of our fondest memories was when we came out to Colorado soon after our marriage and Uncle Dick and Aunt Mary took us cross country skiing. It was our first time and inspired us to buy our own skis. We loved our visits with the Kemme family and are so sorry for your loss. Aunt Mary was always so nice to us and a wonderful person who cared deeply for her husband and family.

Frank and I saw Mom on Wednesday evening before her death.  She was still lucid and she kissed our hands.  I'm so glad we were able to say goodbye.
