Frank Salazar Gonzales passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the age of 79 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on July 25, 1941 in Stockdale, Texas, he preceded in death by his parents, Juan C. Gonzales and Carmen Salazar Gonzales; and his son, Frank Gonzales Jr..
Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Delia G. Gonzales; his children, Sandra Gonzales (Vicente), Andrea G. Gutierrez (Javier), Lisa Gonzales, and Gina Gonzales (Jesus Guevara); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Julia and Jayden Gonzales, Isaiah and Zavian Gonzales, and Serena, Elijah, Nikolas and Azalia Guevara; his sister, Sara Torres; and his extended family and friends who loved him.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Trevino Funeral Home – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to 50 people in the building at a time, and the Funeral Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church – 130 South San Augustine Ave. TX 78237 – will be limited to 100. Face coverings will be required to be worn at all times.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, April 15th from 5 – 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Friday, April 12th, a Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 AM and arrive at St. Jude Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. The burial at San Fernando Cemetery II – 746 Castroville Road 78237 – will follow.
