Annie Mae Weaver Hall was born August 30, 1939 in Goodwin, Arkansas to the union of Clifton and Louise (Bright) Weaver. She was the first of seven children born to that union. Her father, mother, sister Angeline and brother Andrew preceded her in death.
Annie accepted Christ at an early age having been introduced to the Church by her God parents, Ray and Rose Gaines, they made sure she attended Sunday school and Church every Sunday. She attended Asbury Methodist Church and later Saint James Methodist Church both located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Annie was educated in the Saint Louis Public Schools where she attended elementary and high school. She also attended Harris Stowe Teachers College in St. Louis. During Annie and Jack’s many moves across the United States she held many clerical positions but found time to complete an AA degree in Social Studies while they lived in Ohio.
During her sophomore year in high school she met the man with whom she would spend sixty-seven years of her life. She met her life partner, Jack Allen Hall. They started dating and were later married, to this union were born her two devoted sons Jack Allen and Christopher Allen Hall.
In 1995, Annie and Jack moved to Arizona and established their home in Sun Lakes. They, after searching for a church home, joined Chandler United Methodist Church. Annie was known in the church as one who would welcome new members or assist in any way with visitors to the Church. It was not unusual to see Annie visiting before and after service with members smiling and offering words of encouragement.
Annie was very active in various groups in the valley, with Line dancing being her passion.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who was loved and adored by all.
Annie departed this life April 3, 2021, she leaves to mourn her passing her loving and devoted husband Jack Hall of Sun Lakes, AZ; her two sons Jack Jr of Colorado Springs, CO; Christopher (Phan) Hall of San Marcos, CA; two sisters Dorothy Gowdy and Sandra (Alfred) Katzenberger of St Louis, MO; two brothers, Clifton (Lera) Weaver of La Habra Heights, CA and Wilbert Archie (Debbie) Weaver of St Louis, Mo; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a host of friends and cousins.
