After Graduation William enlisted with the military where he served our nation with the Marine Corp. During his service he was awarded his 1st medal of Good Conduct. He then received the National Defense Service Medal as well as earning his Rifle Marksmanship Badge.
Once he retired from the military, William began his career working with the Barstow Community College where he retired after over a decade as the Maintenance Supervisor.
William is survived by his 1st wife Lou King; daughter Laura Johns; daughter Lisa King; son William King; and daughter Samantha Hickenbottom; sister Patty Watson.
William was preceded in death by his father Samuel King and mother Frances King; brother Paul King; and 2nd wife Della King
Mr. William King also leave 15 Grandchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren
A visitation and service for William will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311. A cremation will occur.
