Edwin George Scherzer

He retired from MSD as a Master Mechanic and was responsible for many new ideas and improvements. He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and former member of the K.R.E.I.A. He enjoyed jokes and pulling pranks. His advice to everyone was “don’t get old.”

Edwin is preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Joyce and his sisters, Alma & Dorothy.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Eric (Lachele); daughter, Robin (Jerry); grandchildren: Allison (Justin), Jeremy, Micah, Erica: great – grandchildren: Addyson, Avery and Tatum; all of which experienced the “thick shirt routine.”

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville.
