She was born on June 14, 1939 in Eldorado, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ward and Bessie Renshaw. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Virginia Mishler.
Betty was an active member of Southeast Christian Church with her faith being the center of her life and her dog, Jake, just behind it. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry Holmes, beloved daughter, Laura Beazly (Brian), nieces and nephews, Rick Mishler (Vickie), Randy Jo Wilcox (Scott), and Rob Mishler (Marlene), her best friends, Maria Sapp and Diane Poole, and her first husband and Laura’s father, Bob Dorman.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 4-6:30 PM on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 PM on Monday, May 3, 2021 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shamrock Pet Foundation to honor Betty’s love of animals.
