Vera Mae Heimsoth, born August 16, 1936 and passed May 3, 2021. Vera attended Lincoln Northeast High School and graduated with the class of 54. Vera worked for State Farm until she met Marvin and was married in October 6, 1957. Together they started the Custom Cabinets business.
Vera spent retirement with Marvin traveling and volunteering for FoodNet of Lincoln and Bryan and St. E’s Hospital for 25 years. She had a total of over 28,000 hours. Her grandkids and great grandkids was her pride and joy.
Vera is preceded in death by Marvin Heimsoth; parents Albert and Freida Knapp; sister Alene Truax; 2 brothers and granddaughter Nicole Otto.
Vera is survived by son Allen and wife Lisa Heimsoth, daughter Deb and husband Tim Otto, granddaughter Megan Otto, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Thursday, May 6, 2021, 11:00am at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE. Family and friends will meet at gate 2 prior to the service. lincolnfh.com
