Sharon A. (Perry) Fournier, 56 of South Dartmouth, passed away at home after a lengthy illness, with her loving family at her side. She was the wife of Marc Fournier, to whom she shared 35 years of marriage.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Correia) Perry, Sharron was a resident of South Dartmouth for many years. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 37 Years, at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.
Sharon loved her family dearly; she was a strong and outgoing woman, extremely compassionate who loved to care for others. She loved to travel with Marc, whether here in the US or abroad. She had a deep affection for animals, especially her new puppy Mr. Bitterman and her two rescue Mourning Doves from Sacred Heart Nursing Home.
In addition to her loving Husband Marc, she is survived by her siblings, Michael Perry and his wife Kristen of New Bedford, Jeffrey Perry and his wife Ashley of NH and Joann Sellitti and her husband Michael of New Bedford; and many Nieces and Nephews.
