Frank Endres Smith, age 82, of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of Butler, Missouri passed away on June 3, 2021. Celebration of Life Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 15th at the McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri.
Frank graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in 1957 and attended college with a focus in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Frank was a letter carrier and retired from the USPS. In his free time, Frank enjoyed fishing, taking train trips, and enjoyed the history of Military Aircrafts. He cherished his morning coffee with friends at the local McDonald’s.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, William H. Smith and Margaret A. (Jewett) Smith; and his brother, William J. Smith. He is survived by his nephews, Michael S. Smith and Stephen W. Smith; as well as other extended family members.
