Berta is survived by her spouse, Luis Sanchez; daughter Alejandra Portillo; son Alejandro Ruiz; and son Carlos Sanchez.

A visitation for Berta will be held Monday, July 5, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Valhalla, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
