She was predeceased by a son Robert Bolen, her parents Robert Harris and Eutelka Thrower, a sister Margarette Martin, a brother Jack Harris, her first husband Bob Bolen, and her second husband Edgar Hayes.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters Shawn Stallard, Sharon Joiner (Don), Susan Hoover (Tom), a son John Bolen (Sheila), a stepson Jerry Hayes (Mary), a step-daughter Linda Cable (Mike), a brother Richard Harris (Barbara), ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous other family members.
She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, working with her flowers, vegetable gardening, canning, being in the outdoors with her cats and baby goats, and was a fabulous cook.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 17th at Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Newport officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
