Sara Ann Dunn

Sara made every moment count and loved spending time with her friends and family. She was an active member of the community, and she constantly sought to serve others through her business, her faith, and her friendships. Sara strongly believed in the power of optimism and joy, and she passed on her enthusiasm for life to her children, who she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bernard Ashcraft, and her brother, Warren Ashcraft

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sara Ann Conti-Ouillette and husband Albert Ouillette of Pensacola, FL; daughter Kaitlyn Dunn and fiancée Katherine Wolf of Longmont, CO; son, Grant Dunn and wife Lauren of Sulphur, LA; daughter Amalee Devillier of Lake Charles; grandson, Wiley Maddox (who is on the way); brothers, Steve Ashcraft and wife Donna of Baton Rouge, LA, Lou Ashcraft and wife Donna of Roswell, GA; sister Eve Dove of Pensacola FL, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews and many friends, who she cherished like family.

Visitation for Sara will be held Monday, July 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will resume Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
