DELCAMBRE – A funeral service will be conducted for Brandon Michael Meyers, age 37, at 6:45 pm on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Evangeline Funeral Home. Deacon Patrick Burke will officiate. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home in Delcambre on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. The Men’s Rosary Group will pray the rosary at 6:00 pm.
A native of Delcambre and resident of Youngsville, Brandon passed away on Thursday, September 9 2021 at Ochsners Lafayette General Medical Center.
Born on October 18, 1983 to the late Donna Campbell Meyers, Brandon was an only child. He was a fun loving, spirited, and kind man who enjoyed the simple life. Brandon was an avid sports guy who loved to watch football, especially the Saints. Win or lose they were his favorite team and he supported them feverously. He also enjoyed shooting pool back in the day and was even a part of a pool league. Brandon liked having fun and hanging out with his best friend, Rocky Touchet and his finance, Jamie Stevens. A loving fiancé, father, grandson, nephew, and friend, Brandon will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his fiancée, Jamie Stevens; son, Ethan Wade Meyers; future step-son, Zachery Stevens, III.; grandparents, Louday Campbell and Lilly Mae Reaux Campbell; uncles, Darrell Campbell and Charles Campbell and wife Jeanne; and cousins, Shelby Taylor and husband, Jr., and Alex Campbell.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Campbell Meyers; paternal great grandparents, Erice and Mable Campbell; and maternal great grandparents, Leo and Irene Reaux.
