Ann was born July 28, 1927 in Farley, Missouri to Henry Crawford and Hattie Lane Bayer Harris. On September 1, 1942 she married William "Bud" Quarles and together they made their home in Clay County, MO. After his passing in 1988, Ann married Charles Amos Cannon on March 31, 1990 residing in Kansas City North. Ann worked for Sherr Brothers, KC, MO for 10 years making hats for the Army, later working in the plastics division of Ownes Illinois in NKC retiring after 30 years. Ann enjoyed time with her family, cooking, playing cards and dominos, visiting the lake and traveling. She was a member of Northland Cathedral for over 30 years and was proud to participate with their Sunday School Program.
Ann was preceded in death parents; her first husband, Bud; her second husband, Charles; 6 brothers; JW, Leo, Ralph, Clint, George, Jewel, and Larry; step brother, Bill Gaines; a sister, Wanda; step sister, Dorothy.
Survivors include her 3 sons, Bill (Peggy), Roger (Lorretta), Phillip (Wendy) Quarles; her sisters, Rosie Gorbet, Wilma Killough, Brenda Stevenson; her brothers, RW (Linda); very special friend, Jim Johnson; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
