A graduate of Statesville High School, Thai went on to further his education at ITT Tech, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and currently employed with Optomec.
Thai was an avid Gamer, he loved spending time with his family, and eating his favorite food, Pho.
Survivors include his mother, Bao Thao; brother, Lue Chang; sisters, Michelle (Money Vang) Chang and Marsea (Joshua) Chang Smith; nieces, Ana and Emmy Vang.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wang Chang.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.
