Theodore W Filides Sr.

Theodore W. Filides, loving Husband, Father and Papou went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 10th, 2021. He was 93 years old. Dad passed away suddenly from an unexpected illness. He was born in Joliet, Illinois. Ted was the 3rd son of Bill & Mary Filides. He was very recently preceded in death by his wife, Victoria. Ted had 5 children, Ted Jr., Yvonne and Terry, from a previous marriage. Ted and Victoria were married 58 years. They had daughter, Katherine and son Bill together. Ted enjoyed, volunteering at St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church, Chicago Cubs baseball, fishing and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Yvonne, Terry, Katherine and Bill, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Theodore will be missed and his legacy will carry on through his family and his church. May God grant him eternal peace and salvation. He was an amazing Father who lived his life to the fullest. He was the best Father a person could ask to have.
