Lawrence was a lifelong resident of Vinton. He worked in the auto parts industry for 20 years and was employed with NAPA in Sulphur, LA for 12 years. Lawrence was currently working as an AMAZING Wrecker Operator for the past four years at Bush's Wrecker Service in Sulphur. He loved being a wrecker operator and working on his truck. He had a passion for customizing old vehicles. Lawrence was always known as a prankster and loved to make people laugh. Everyone who met Lawrence developed a strong liking for him. He fit perfectly into the brotherhood/sisterhood of the towing family. "Tow life for life!"
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 22 years, Christina Lyons Stoddard of Vinton, LA; his children, Derrick Lee Stoddard & Alissa Lynn Stoddard of Vinton, LA; his brother, Louis Stoddard; his sisters-in-law, Tammy Lemmon (Bradley), Bonnie Bergeron (Eric), Jennifer Lyons (Scott); many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry & Linda (Breaux) Stoddard; his infant children, Hayden & Jordan Stoddard.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for funeral and family expenses.
