Dear Dedi,

Happy Birthday, on this day so many truly miss you !!! 

You were a beautiful and unique person; on the inside and outside.
Even though, we have never met in person, I feel as if, I knew you vicariously through Mishka's stories over the years.

"If Tomorrow Starts Without Me"  - gave me some comfort on this day, I hope others will listen too.

I can’t seem to find the words to explain how sad we are that you’re not with us anymore. Your energy, your laugh, your warmth and your hospitality…it was all incredible and amazing. We’re going to miss you. You’re one of the best memories we have. 

We met on the South American New Year cruise and were fortunate to spend time with the most unforgettably  fabulous Dedi and Wayne ... Such a perfect couple...This is all too tragic and my heart is broken for you Wayne and the family .
Today was a beautiful ceremony, a tribute to Dedi and your love for him .Chouko looked forlorn and lost after it . I hope you can comfort each other and remember the amazing times you all had together to comfort you. 
There are no words that will make the pain go away but your friends and family will help by keeping Dedi s memory alive eating lobster  and drinking  champagne 🥂🍾Wishing you health long life and times free of sorrow.. X You were privileged  to have had someone who loved you so much and was so  devoted to you ...XX

Dedi, my friend words can’t truly express how I feel at the moment. I’ve never met someone so full of life with such a pure heart which you shared with the world.
I miss you… today, tomorrow and always !
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before, I knew it. The last call, we spoke…I hear it again and again.

A loss of a friend hurts, a loss of family hurts so much more.
Wayne, I am thinking of you during this time of profound sorrow. The love you two displayed will always be a beautiful memory in my heart.

I can't believe this is happening..     i will miss you smile but also your tears..   i wish Wayne and family  and friends all the best, i light a candle for you..    

In awe.  In fact I was always in awe of you.  Whenever you were around I was in awe of the light, love, laughter, generosity, fun....well...the list goes on and on.....but most of all I was in awe of your friendship.  Your long list of friends gathered around you like moths to a flame....I was humbled to be included on that long list of friends and lucky to be one of the moths.  Meeting up on Cape Cod and Bali meant the world to me.  I'm sad for the selfish reason that you won't be there the next time I go....Love to Wayne, Ketut and Chouko......may love, light and bubbles lead your way my love....forever missed.  

I've only come to know Dedi this past October.   He had an unforgettable impact  -- a beautiful spirit, full of love and joy and so much fun.   Rest in peace Dedi.

What did we enjoy there. Such a sweet and always positive boy. Even then. I hope it's just as beautiful up there as it is here with us.
And we laughed a bit about the time you lived in the Netherlands. The weekends at the COC were always a party.

Dear Dedi, words cannot express how I feel, you touched my life so deeply, and my daughters.  Your smile and laugh, lit up whatever room you walked into. Your fashion sense was amazing. I’m still reflecting on the recent passing of Dedi, one special and fun loving human being I met at my brothers wedding in Bali, a couple of years ago. Quite profound really as my family and I met Him and got to know him only over a few days. But, for someone to make such an impact in such a short space of time and continue to keep in touch through FB with lovely messages to my family, well what can I say? There is a learning from it. We must try and have lots of fun and just go for it. Look after yourselves and your friends and be kind. Tackle the tough times together and don’t put things off! Dedi Liem Gunawan with such a huge worldwide friendship community behind you , you were awesome and it was a pleasure to meet you ‘darling!’ RIP ❤️ Deepest condolences to the family from the UK xx 

I can’t believe you have left us Dedi Liem Gunawan you were my fashion inspiration since the day I met you years ago in Singapore. You brighten the room like a shining star and that caught my eye. Your smile and love for life was so inspiring. Your FB posts is what I always look forward to hoping to see what’s your next fabulous outfit or you in a beautiful dress twirling. I don’t know you as much as I should but the minute I posted to raise funds for my sister and her family who were hit by a tornado a couple of years back you were so generous and quick to contribute. You were so loud for life but so humble for all the great you have done for others. 

Rest in power our Queen show heaven what it’s like to be absolutely fabulous and fashionable and tell them wearing all white is passé! Keep twirling in those beautiful dresses. Thanks for touching my heart and showing me there is humanity. ♥️

My darling boy I cannot comprehend this huge loss, Im so grateful I spoke with you Tuesday early morning via facetime as we said our last goodbyes. Fly high sweetheart until we meet again with champagne in the sky. My number 1 supporter and my BFF forever, I love you eternally...love, love and always love ❤ 

Words can’t describe the loss of such a beautiful soul. I will miss running into him on the streets of DC, always looking fabulous & talking about your amazing outfits and broches.  My deepest condolences to Wayne & all his family.

Darling, dearest Dedi, you lit the world up with your smile. You spread joy and laughter wherever you went. You touched our hearts and our souls with your incredible zest for life. You only ever spoke kindly about others and were so passionate about lifting people up. I won’t think about the huge hole you will be leaving in everyone’s lives. Dedi had the most amazing personality, smile and always, ALWAYS made everyone feel so special. I am lucky enough to have gotten to attend some of his many parties and gotten to know him. You will be so missed, the world doesn't feel the same without you in it.

I know Dedi from the time he lived in the Netherlands and together we had a great holiday in Bali during that time. Dedi is a friend who has been himself from childhood and lived life double time wise. He was special.❤️ I will never forget all the memories.
