I am so very sorry to find that Candy passed away.  I worked with her many years ago and have very fond memories of her.  May she rest in peace.

My son and I heart is completely broken to find out that, she passed away. She changed my sons and I life. She sheltered us as if we were her own.

I’m so so saddened to just hear of Candy’s passing. She made such a difference in the lives of so many…children and adults alike. Some of my fondest memories were holidays at her home for those of us who didn’t have family close by…ah, the games we played!  Also I have great memories of our camping trips with our boys at the beach. Much love to you, Kenneth and many prayers.

For years Candy has been a leader in our church’s Missions and Outreach efforts. She was instrumental in our participation with Family Promise in feeding and providing shelter to families in our community. During the weeks that the families stayed with us Candy would be there daily to help prepare the site, serve the meals , and provide comfort to our guests. She provided vital support to Bridge to Home’s meals program, organizing and coordinating nightly meals and lunches. When Bridge to Home wanted to expand the number of days they offered meals , Candy readily volunteered. She helped organize and coordinate our annual Alternative Christmas at which donations were given to twelve different charities. In an additional response to the homelessness being experienced in our community, she helped develop our gift bag drives , where volunteers assembled bags of needed items to be given to the homeless in our community. In response to an appeal from our church’s National Disaster Relief committee, she organized an event to assemble disaster boxes with essential items to be given to those in need after natural disasters. Other activities in which Candy provided valuable support included Holiday toy drives, Support Boxes for our service members overseas, organizing donations to Small World Preschool and support for the local food pantry. Candy was a passionate supporter of programs to help others. She provided valued inspiration and support.

So many memories of Candy, all special memories. Camp Colby, Sunday school. Bible school, puzzling at Women's Retreats. So many wonderfully rich conversations. Love of kids and the church family. Candy cared with all of her heart and freely shared all of her many talents. She will be missed by all that loved her.

Candy was a dear friend of mine for almost 50 years.  I meet her when she was teaching at  Nash Middle School in Cobb Co Ga.  She was an excellent teacher   Kids absolutely loved her
 When she moved back to CA. we still kept in touch.  She was my travel buddy.  Going to Germany to the Passion Play, England, Australia and New Zealand., Canada, and many places in  the US
She loved to travel with Ken, Michelle, Amber and Zach and was so proud of her grandchildren
I was there when she married Grant. 
I am really going to miss you, Candy.  I loved you like a sister I never had but I know you’re not in pain any more  and that God has taken you home to be with him
