A West Orange High School graduate in NJ, she attended the cooking school at the Cordon Bleu in London, England and owned The Seaglass Antiques in Bayhead, NJ. Vanna was a partner with her mother, Jean Reitmeyer, at the La Petite Tea Room and at La Grande Tea Room, both located in Williamsburg, VA. She also did catering as well.
Her hobbies included listening to all types of music, reading, and enjoying the company of friends, family, and guests at the tea room. Her greatest love was her son, Thomas.
Vanna is survived by her son, Thomas A. Tortoriello; devoted mother, Jean Reitmeyer; brother, Cyrus Reitmeyer; aunt, Gloria McGinty; and cousins, Verlynn Hills, Frank Mulvany, Keith and Diane McGinty.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
