He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II in the European Theater of Operations.
Survivors include his wife of almost 64 years, Veda (DeVary) Bahl, whom he married on August 18, 1946; sons, Dennis Bahl and wife Connie of Rogers, Robert Bahl and wife Karen of Rogers; sisters, Goldie Davis of Washington State, Pearl Quayle of Springfield, Missouri, Virginia Theilen of Mason City, Iowa; grandchildren, Tracy Leehans, Celena Bahl, Kym Reeves, Shawn Bahl; and great grandchildren, Ashton, Ryliee, Ethan, Kyle, Kailey, and Jake.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Richard Bahl, and granddaughter, Cassie Jenkins.
Visitation will be held 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Pate. Burial will follow in Tuck’s Chapel Cemetery.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville.
